Windows 10 says hi for free

Windows-10-Technology-HD-Wide-Wallpaper-1024x576If you are running Windows 8.1, Windows Phone 8.1, or Windows 7, the upgrade to Windows 10 is free for an entire year. As your technology ambassador, I was excited at first to hear about the new OS but not without a bit of skepticism. Now that I have used it for a couple weeks, I can honestly say it’s my favorite since Windows XP and worth getting excited about. (Yes, I know I need to probably get out more.) Once you decide to take the plunge, consult this helpful guide on what to disable and what to tweak so that your experience is a positive one as well.

Remember, always allocate some time to learn a new operating system. Throw on some music, poke around a bit – but before you upgrade, make sure you have a good backup!
