In honor of Columbus Day …

jason be bad… take a different way to work today, park in a different space, try a new restaurant, do things differently than you normally would, engage with new people, pitch a crazy idea. Even if he really didn’t discover America (he didn’t), Columbus makes a real good story and should inspire us all to see what is on the other side. You may not land where you intended but the adventure and payoff could be greater than you ever could have imagined.

I write music for these movies and I sing songs. I dance in the movies and I act in them, and it’s not that I’m gifted at all of these things … it’s that I’m not afraid to be bad at them until I’m good at them. –Jason Segel on Ellen
