28 Aug I don’t know if you remember me
Is there someone you have lost touch with? Do you find yourself thinking about them every once in a while? Pick up the phone and call. Send an email. Track this person down. Google and Facebook alone will probably do the trick these days. I lost touch with a good friend and roommate years ago. He lived in New Orleans. After Hurricane Katrina, I found his old number and left a message – it was a generic answering machine so I really didn’t know if I had found him or not. He was one of the first back into NOLA with the first responders. “The Professor” came back into my life along with his wonderful new wife.

We count Sid and Cathy as two of our closest friends now, as well as golf partners, and Broadway business partners. That is one of the best phone calls I have ever made. On this 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, we remember those lost and give thanks for those found. Watch the beautiful tribute below.
