Hey Siri, now is not the time

hey siriWith recent Apple updates to your iPhone and/or iPad, a Siri setting may be on that you are not aware of – Siri will chime in on a conversation, in a meeting, during a movie, anytime Siri has something to add to what you have to say. First, it will scare the daylights out of you. Second, it will not be a welcome interruption. Thanks to Steeleworker Cynthia Peltier for alerting YDST to Hey Siri. To turn off:

  • Go to Settings
  • Choose General
  • Next choose Siri
  • Then, decide whether or not you really want Siri to be that good of a friend
