Any successful person knows social media changed the marketing and promotion landscape in ways we would never have imagined. There are so many platforms to spread your knowledge and information. The one thing people seem to forget is each platform is different with a different audience – what you say and how you say it on Twitter is completely different than what you say and how you say it on LinkedIn or Facebook. If you really want to grow your following, don’t link these accounts. Deliver a targeted message to each specific audience. If you link all your accounts and continually post the same exact thing across all the platforms, why should someone follow you on more than one?
