21 Apr College students must intern. Period.
If you want a chance at a job right out of college, you must intern as much as possible in your chosen field. Every single year you are in college. This is the time of year I hear from Steeleworkers across the country looking for internships for their students and jobs for their college graduates. If you are still in college, start looking for next year’s internship now – it’s too late for this summer. If you are graduating with little to no experience in your chosen profession, you may still have to accept a low paying (or no paying) internship. Success is competitive. Play the game people.
Shout out to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center – not only are they doing amazing work but they also have the BEST ad for interns.

If you are looking for a speaker for a future event, remember it is what I do to pay for the groceries and keep the electricity on. I can’t believe I am already booking keynotes for 2017. Time flies. See what I do and how I do it here. And, as always, thanks for your support!
