The first step to solving a problem is realizing you have one. No one phrase has ever been so true. Call your customer service line, try to buy your product or engage your service – take a look at how the entire process is working. If you were the customer, would you be happy? Even if you are a one-person shop, you can still do this – ask a friend to ask someone you don’t know to try your product or service from the initial phone call/contact to delivery/use-of-service. Then have he or she go through their experience with you and critique it all. Be open-minded and willing to change or fix things. Or this won’t work.
